This years prom was interesting for many different reasons. I got to help Ashley get ready by doing her hair and yes this Gammy babysat all night so she could be a teenager one last time and not just Aiden's mommy. Most of the pics have Aiden in them, some have Aiden's daddy, Ryan, but that gorgeous lady in the photos is, I'm proud to say, is my oldest Ashley. It seems like just yesterday was the first time I met her and we were not the biggest friends. Now after 11 years and counting I feel as close to her as if I had given birth to her myself. She is a wonderful mother and daughter. I wish her the best and will always be here to help pick up the pieces if needed.
Isn't she gorgeous

New Arrival

I would like to welcome the newest member of the SLOOP clan; Noah Paul Sloop born on April 9,2010 weighing in at 7lbs 11oz and an amazing 20.5 inches long. How could our parent known all those years ago when they first talked about starting a family it would have grow to this: 5 kids, 9 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. I am thankful every day that they had all of us and managed to make it through with a smile. We have great childhood memories and the memories we are making as adults keep us extremely close.

Joseph and Lauren are amazed at his long toes

He sleeps very well

But he does have a set of lungs!

Grandpa is the BEST

I got stir crazy with the snow so I drove out and picked up Aiden to spend some time with, but the problem was he wanted his Grandpa. Andy just ate it up!!

Hey this water is getting cold
Does that hair come off?
Thanks Grandpa it taste good, it is to be eaten isn't it?
Do I have to do everything for myself?
Don't look down I promise not to pee on you. Are you really that worried?

Anyone who knows me knows that I have trouble keeping a secret, so Christmas brought a new set of problems this year. I had to keep the fact my girls were getting netbooks and Brandon was getting a nintendo dsi for Christmas a secret for almost 2 months!
Thanks Nana! It tast GREAT!

This Thanksgiving was the best yet just watch the video!

My family truly makes me smile, I look forward to each and every chance I get to spend time with them.

What Is She Thinking

I do not know what Victoria was thinking when she got up this morning, but she decided to wear her little brothers clothes to school. Brandon of course thought this was cool so he helped her pick out some clothes and this is how it turned out:
